Generation in Milan
With the coming of the European spring, Generation is preparing ourselves for our annual trip to beautiful Milan to participate in Milan Design Week, which falls between the 4th-9th April. We are excited to immerse ourselves in a full week of the finest design and to discover the very latest collections of the best of International Design.
Our iconic Italian brand De Padova will be showcasing the latest and the very best of their collection during Milan Design week, and can be found at the Salone Del Mobile (Hall 20 booth C09-D10) as well as in their unbelievably beautiful Santa Cecilia Showroom (Via Santa Cecilia, 7, 20121 Milano, Italy).

Seletti, another one of our key brands, will also have a stand Euroluce (Hall 13, E-03 ) the most important lighting design exhibition which runs in collaboration with Salone Del Mobile. Featuring their unique lighting solutions (http://www.generationdesign.co.za/monkey-lamps) and including their new lighting for 2017, the first collection created in collaboration with Studio Job, the most creative contemporary design duo, new products by Marcantonio, a new lamp designed by Gio Tirotto and a new project of luminous letters.
Watch out for their exciting activations that will be happening over the period of the 4th-9th of April in and around Milan which include DESIGN PRIDE, the ironic and colourful parade of floats, music, dance, performances, that will pump up the Milan Design Week on Wednesday the 5th of April from 6 pm, moving through the 5VIE district and ending its ride in Piazza Affari with a big street party to conclude the affair.
Seletti’s awesome collaboration with Diesel Living, the Italian brand globally known for its satirically revolutionary designs - are opening a Diesel Living pop up home at Via Cesare Correnti 14, Milan, and can also be seen on display in Hall 16, A35 B28 –at the Salone Fiera Milano, from 6pm to 11pm.
